2. Scope

These terms apply to bicycle and e-bike rentals booked through this website (www.giroverde.es) or on site in Valencia.

3. Booking and prices

Bookings are made online through our booking partner FareHarbor. All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT; any applicable booking fees are shown before you pay. Your booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email.

4. Payment

Payment is made online at the time of booking through the secure payment methods offered at checkout. We do not store your card details.

5. Pickup and return

Pickup location: Guadalaviar 3, 46009 Valencia, Spain (next to the Turia Park).
Please bring your booking confirmation and a valid ID.
Bikes must be returned on time, to the same location, in the same condition they were handed over. Pick-up and return are only possible during shop opening hours: Monday–Friday 09:30–19:00 and Saturday 11:00–15:00. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. This applies to every rate, including 4 hours, 24 hours and multi-day rentals. Full-day rentals are available Monday–Friday, with return by 19:00; they are not available on Saturdays. A rental may span Sunday, but collection and return must both fall within opening hours on an open day.

6. Your obligations

Rentals must be made by an adult (18+). Children's bikes are rented under the responsibility of an accompanying adult.
Follow Spanish traffic regulations at all times, including helmet requirements where applicable.
Use the lock provided whenever the bike is parked, and do not lend or sub-rent the bike to third parties.

7. Damage, loss and deposit

You are responsible for the bike during the rental period. Damage beyond normal wear, loss or theft will be charged at repair or replacement cost; late return, at €35 per bike per day. Please report any accident or incident to us immediately. Deposit per bike: €200 (Elops 520 and P275 SE), €500 (LE20 and EP-2) and €100 (kids' bikes), paid in cash or as a card hold and returned when you bring the bike back in good condition. No-deposit option: document as a guarantee of return.

8. Cancellations and changes

You can cancel or change the date online free of charge up to 24 hours before. If we cancel (for example, due to bad weather), you get a full refund. No-shows are charged the full price. To change a booking, contact us at info@giroverde.es as early as possible.

9. Right of withdrawal

As a leisure service booked for a specific date, rentals are exempt from the general right of withdrawal (art. 103.l of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act). The cancellation conditions in this section apply instead.

10. Complaints and disputes

You can reach us at info@giroverde.es or +34 960 730 497. Official complaint forms are available in accordance with regional consumer regulations. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Applicable law

Spanish law applies. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts under applicable consumer legislation.
