How much does it cost to rent a bike in Valencia?
A full day ranges from €12.00 to €35.00 depending on the model. The 4-hour rate starts at €8.99, and the 24-hour rate runs from €15.00 to €40.00. All rates are on our prices page, booking fees already included.
What's included in the rental?
Helmet and lock are included. Adult bikes also include a basket and rear rack; kids’ bikes do not have a basket.
Where do I pick the bike up?
At Guadalaviar 3, 46009 Valencia, right by the Turia Gardens.
What are your opening hours?
Pick-up and return are only possible during shop opening hours: Monday–Friday 09:30–19:00 and Saturday 11:00–15:00. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. This applies to every rate, including 4 hours, 24 hours and multi-day rentals. Full-day rentals are available Monday–Friday, with return by 19:00; they are not available on Saturdays. A rental may span Sunday, but collection and return must both fall within opening hours on an open day.
What is the 4-hour rate and when can I book it?
For a 4-hour rental, the latest possible pick-up is 15:00 Monday–Friday and 11:00 Saturday, so the bike is returned within opening hours. Check the calendar for available times.
What's the difference between "full day" and "24 hours"?
Full day: Monday–Friday only, with return by 19:00 the same day. The 24-hour rate ends at the same time the following day; if you pick up on a Friday, return the bike on Saturday between 11:00 and 15:00. There are no 24-hour rentals on Saturdays. Collection and return must both be within shop opening hours; no Sunday collections or returns.
How do I book the full-day rate?
Book it online like any other duration: press “Book this bike” on the model you want, choose the date, and pick “Full day” in the booking window. Card payment, instant email confirmation.
What do I need to collect the bike?
Bring your booking confirmation and a valid ID document; whoever signs for the rental has to be 18 or over. Deposit per bike: €200 (LE20 and EP-2: €500; kids' bikes: €100), cash or card hold, returned when you bring the bike back. No-deposit option: document as a guarantee of return.
Can I cancel?
Free cancellation or date change online up to 24 hours before; no-shows are charged the full price. If you need to change or cancel your booking, write to info@giroverde.es; if it's for today, call +34 960 730 497.
Do the prices include booking fees?
Always, yes. The figure you see in our table is exactly what you pay in the booking system — booking fees included, no surprises at checkout.
Do you have bikes for children?
Yes, two: a 20" bike for ages 6 to 9 (about 1.20–1.35 m) and a 24" bike for ages 9 to 12 (about 1.35–1.55 m), one of each. They are booked online like the adult bikes — pick the size on the kids' bike page — and an accompanying adult signs the rental agreement. Height counts more than age: when in doubt, choose the smaller size or call us and we'll tell you which one to book.
Can I rent for several days or a week?
Yes. We have 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6-day rates and a full week: for example, a city bike for a week is €70.00 and an electric city bike €140.00. For several weeks or a month, write through the form and we'll put a rate together.
How do I pay?
By card, in the booking system, when you book. You get your booking confirmation by email.
What routes can I ride from the shop?
From Guadalaviar 3 you ride straight onto the Turia Gardens path. The four routes we're asked about most are the Turia Gardens, the Albufera, Malvarrosa beach and the City of Arts and Sciences; each page says which rental duration fits best.
