Electric fat bike rental in Valencia

Where it makes a difference

On the way to the Albufera (51.0 km) there are stretches of packed earth and sand where a narrow tyre digs in; the EP-2's wide tyres roll straight through without you getting off. Same story on the sandy approach to Malvarrosa. For a short ride around town you don't need it — the city bike is the better call there.

Who rents this bike

It’s mostly booked by people who’ve already got a bike outing or two behind them and want to go beyond the asphalt: the Albufera route with a detour onto the rice-field tracks, or reaching the sand at Malvarrosa without dismounting to push. It’s also the pick when a group wants to explore without a fixed route and doesn’t know in advance what the tyres will be riding over. If the plan is just the Turia path end to end, you don’t need it — any of our other bikes rides it just as well, for less.

What’s in the price

Helmet, lock, basket and rear rack. None of it costs extra, and the figure in the table is the total: booking fees are already included.

Before you come

Book the date on the prices page and bring your booking confirmation and a valid ID document to Guadalaviar 3; the name on the agreement has to be an adult’s. Deposit per bike: €200 (LE20 and EP-2: €500; kids' bikes: €100), cash or card hold, returned when you bring the bike back. No-deposit option: document as a guarantee of return. Since there’s only one unit, book as early as you can — the calendar only offers dates when the bike is free.

Full day: Book this bike

The daily rate drops the longer you keep it

A full day is €32.00. Three days come to €90.00 — €30.00 a day; six days, €180.00 (also €30.00 a day); and a full week, €204.99, which works out at €29.28 a day. The difference isn’t huge, but it’s worth knowing if you’re torn between extending the booking or stacking two short rentals: extending always works out better.

Common questions about the fat bike

Does it work in the city? Yes, but it’s more bike than you need for a short ride around town; the city or electric city bike is nimbler for that.

Can I take it onto the sand? It handles packed sand and beach approaches well; it isn’t built for riding through loose, soft sand at the shoreline.

What if the one unit is already booked? We’ll tell you on the spot by phone and offer an alternative date or the electric city bike.

Pick-up and return

At Guadalaviar 3, right by the Turia Gardens. Booking the full-day rate, the bike has to be back that same evening, before we close: 19:00 Monday–Friday; no full-day rentals on Saturdays.
